Here's a ppt template to print out and construct your own faux OQO 02...

lol - that's cool and is a great idea to get a feel of the size. It would be funny to watch the horror on the other employee's faces when he drops it down the stairs - lol.

Thanks for sharing.

Hee hee. Glad you guys discovered my OQO Origami! It was really a fun project yesterday. I've been super swamped at work and needed to do something fun just to keep myself sane, even if only marginally so  :Smiley  Since it's quick to do, I made up a couple more to hand out to people and to get my manager excited about the ~$3000 expense report that's about to come his way  Grin

Also, I have a specific OQO question. I've seen the SSD comes highly recommended, but there is a 4-6 week wait for that right now, and the standard config is only 5-7 days. I can't stand to wait when I'm hot on a project.

I am primarily interested in the SSD to reduce the fan noise and heat of the device. Does it really make a difference, and if I order it with the standard HD, can I rip that out and pop in my own SSD and still get the fan noise / heat benefits?  I would guess it's fine (other than probably voiding the warranty), but often with these kind of things one never really knows until you try it...

Ken:  See this thread and it's linked threads.  I installed my own SSD and it wasn't too hard.
